Outreach event: Linking castles and sea, people and science
The Clicher Project is a funded project addressing how cultural heritage (castles, villages, slate), and the value we place on it, can help to inform a better understanding of our changing climate and the risk that poses in terms of our cultural assets location on/or close to the north Wales coastline.
Join us for an interactive workshop event on the 22nd March. Meet local people, practitioners, policy makers and academics to find out more about our coastal and heritage land and seascapes. We鈥檒l be sharing findings from our two February workshops, hosting a discussion to think about how valuing cultural heritage could lead to greater understanding of climate resilience and adaption, and attempting to co-create a practical toolkit for how to engage diverse communities with climate science and the threat to cultural heritage. We鈥檙e taking a locally developed, solutions-based approach to tackle this global challenge.
The event will take place on 22nd March at Reichel Hall, 69传媒. The event is free to attend, and we will be providing refreshments and a buffet lunch!
